The ARLIS/NA Wolfgang M. Freitag Internship Award Sub-Committee is pleased to announce Adam Beebe as the 2015  recipient! Adam is a student in the MLIS program at the University of Alabama and has an MA in Latin American Studies from Tulane University. His interest in art stems from both his academic work with Brazilian art and music movements of the 1960s/70s counterculture as well as years spent volunteering with college radio stations, playing in bands, and learning print and papermaking techniques. At Alabama Adam is focusing on archives and digital services and has worked extensively on a project to digitize and exhibit a collection of materials related to the wood engraver John DePol. Adam views art librarianship as an ideal way to merge his interest in service and information access with more personal creative pursuits. He is very excited and honored to be the 2015 Internship Award recipient and he plans to complete his internship in Fall 2015 at a location still to be determined.

Congratulations Adam!
