Dear ARLIS colleagues,

Has any of your university made the transition of opting out mandatory
textbooks for a survey of global art type of courses? If so, how did the
faculty rebuild the course with other textural/image resources? I know Khan
Academy and ARTstor offer good guides with lecture videos and images in
line with standard textbooks, but assume they can't substitute the
narrative overview that survey textbooks provide.

Thank you for your input!

Best,
Kanako
