two site-specific exhibitions of photographs, video and sculpture by artist,
and art Professor *Barbara Madsen <http://www.barbaramadsen.net/>*.



Her collections of cast off industrial matter of spark plugs, machine
parts, welding masks, light switches, rubber, plastic, prosthetics,
artificial eyes, and much more serve as Dadaist fodder. Madsen’s
photographs, mine the reproduction of the object. She builds models for
these objects to inhabit and re-photographs them, further removing them
from their original context, conflating space and scale.
