The Society of Architectural Historians is investigating licensing a Digital Asset Management system from a software vendor.  We have many thousands of images--in various states--stored hard drives for use on our online academic resources such as SAH Archipedia http://sah-archipedia.org/ and our image archive SAHARA http://www.sah.org/publications-and-research/sahara  

 

Can you please recommend DAM software vendors who come highly recommended?  I know the library world is way ahead of the learned society world in this area.  Thanks very much.
