It's something every art student and artist should be aware of.

I would advise your student to interview the organizers and
speakers.
It goes beyond financial literacy to the core of the economic
system, the game structure of the art world, myths about art,
changes in tuition practices in recent decades, the switch to
adjunct professors, and more-- that create a situation in which
98% of MFA graduates are unable to pay their student loans.
