Last year’s ARLIS/NA Museum moderator, Allison Hausladen, asked that I post this Gensler Museum Research Report and Survey on our list serve. Allison is Regional Knowledge Manager at Gensler. Scroll down for link.

Thank you,

Recently, Gensler hosted research roundtables with influential museum and cultural institution leaders in New York, London, Houston, Los Angeles, Costa Rica and Chicago. We wanted to learn more about how museums are
innovatively engaging audiences to create greater excitement, relevance and sustainability. We were also curious about how these changes are rescripting the roles of museums in their communities and cities. Through these roundtable discussions, we gained some fascinating insights. In an effort to further qualify and quantify this information, we ask that you complete a short survey:

During the spring, the research team will host additional roundtables to review ongoing research. Findings will be published in April 2015. In the meantime, an interim report may be downloaded from Gensler.com.

Feel welcome to forward this email to other interested museum professionals and contact us with any questions.

Thank you for your participation! We appreciate your contributions to this museum research.

Sincerely,
