Greetings ARLIS/NA Members! We will once again hold a Silent Auction at the 43rd Annual Conference in Fort Worth to benefit the Society. The money raised will help fund ARLIS/NA student travel awards. We need donations of all kinds. Items that have done well in the past include handcrafted items, books, gift cards, jewelry, photographic prints, and paintings. Corporate donations are especially welcome! For those of you who work in areas with museum shops, please consider asking your shop if they would like to donate something for the auction. We also encourage ARLIS/NA chapters to contribute baskets or gift bags that represent their region or play off of some creative theme. For shipping items in advance to the conference hotel, contact me so I can provide delivery information. Please note that delivered items must be received by Thursday, March 19th and hand-carried items must be dropped off at the Omni Hotel in the "Texas G" room by noon on Friday, March 20th.
