Fantastic line-up! Thank you all for your efforts on behalf of the NW Chapter.

For those of you in/near Portland, I've got a small art show up at Glyph (near the Museum of Craft) until the end of the month.
Stop by for a cup of tea and take a look. http://www.glyphpdx.com/events/first-thursday-art-opening-3/

Statements and biographies from the committee members:

Traci Timmons

I’m from the South, but moved to Seattle nearly 20 years ago and fully consider the Northwest my home. I have been the head librarian at the Seattle Art Museum for 11 years and am responsible for all duties: cataloguing, reference, volunteer management, archives management, acquisitions, collection development and more. Prior to that, I held positions at the Polk Museum of Art, the Florida State University Museum of Fine Arts and the Contemporary Art Museum at the University of South Florida. I have worked in academic libraries in Special Collections and art department visual resource centers. I have also worked in corporate library settings. In addition to my role in the Northwest Chapter, I also currently serve on the ARLIS/NA Wolfgang Freitag Internship Award Committee.

Alan Michelson

I was born and raised in the Upper Midwest, and have an academic background in art history and political science, with an MLIS obtained in 2000 from the University of Michigan. I moved to the West Coast in 1984, and lived here for the most part since then. I've worked since 1993 in various libraries at Stanford University, the University of Michigan, UCLA and the University of Washington. I worked at UCLA from 2000-2004 as the Architecture and Design Librarian, and since 2004 as the Head of the Built Environments Library at UW. I am married and live in the Ravenna neighborhood of Seattle. In my spare time, I collect everything.

D. Vanessa Kam

D. Vanessa Kam is Head of Music, Art and Architecture, University of British Columbia Library in Vancouver, where she has been employed since 2005.  She has been a member of ARLIS/NA since 2000 and the ARLIS/NA Northwest Chapter since 2006. From 2009-2011, she served on the ARLIS/NA Executive as Chapters Liaison.  She looks forward to serving another year as Treasurer of the Northwest Chapter!

Bronwyn Dorhofer

I'm the Access Services and Outreach Librarian for the University of Oregon Portland Library and Learning Commons; a satellite campus based in an historic neighborhood (Old Town Chinatown) of Portland, OR. Our Library serves patrons working in the spheres of Architecture, Digital Art, Product Design, Journalism, Business and Law.  I have been in this position since 2013 and a member of ARLIS/NA since 2008.  My professional interests are in Art and Visual Resources Librarianship, Public and Access Services and the History of Photography.

Congratulations to everyone!
