The Research Awards Sub-Committee is accepting applications for the H. W.
Wilson Foundation Research Award, the Worldwide Books Award for Publications,
and the Worldwide Books Award for Electronic Resources!

The Worldwide Books Awards reward ARLIS/NA members’ research efforts with
prizes for outstanding work published by our members as books, in journals,
and on the web. Past Worldwide Books Award winners can be found here
<http://www.arlisna.org/about/awards-honors/awards-history/228-worldwide-books-award-for-publications-past-winners>
and here
<http://www.arlisna.org/about/awards-honors/awards-history/227-worldwide-books-award-for-electronic-resources-past-winners>
.

If you’ve recently completed a publication you are proud of, or have
admired another ARLIS/NA member’s work in print or online, we encourage you
to apply and to nominate your colleagues for the 2015 Worldwide Books Award
for Publications or the 2015 Worldwide Books Award for Electronic Resources!

The H. W. Wilson Foundation Research Awards encourage ARLIS/NA members’
research efforts with funding for worthy research projects still in-process
for future publication. Last year’s winners, Bronwyn Dorhofer and Jaye
Fishel, have just embarked on research that will culminate in 2015. The
previous year’s winners, Vanessa Kam and Elizabeth Hahn, both published
articles earlier this year as a result of their awards:

Hahn, Elizabeth. “Isola Bedda: Early Numismatic Literature and the Coins of
Sicily.” ANS Magazine
<http://www.worldcat.org/title/american-numismatic-society-magazine/oclc/49932131>
13, no. 1 (2014)

Kam, D. Vanessa. “The Tenacious Book, Part 1: The Curious State of Art and
Architecture Library Collections in a Digital Era.” Art Documentation 33,
no. 1
<http://www.arlisna.org/news/news-events/258-spring-2014-issue-of-art-documentation-published>
(Spring 2014)

If you have a research idea for the future or a project in the works that
needs funding, we encourage you to apply for the 2015 H. W. Wilson
Foundation Research Award!

Please follow the links below for the application forms and additional
award details. The deadline to apply for all three awards is on or
before Friday,
January 9, 2015. Get your applications in before the holidays are upon us!
