Hi Heather,

When I said training non-cataloguers I meant more informative sessions
for reference staff and internal researchers explaining the changes to
catalogue records, how these will impacts searching functions, and the
benefits (why we are doing this), especially in the context of linked data
and moving away from MARC in the future. We are looking for clear, existing
materials we can use, rather than having to develop our own in-house
materials.

Since we don't have a dedicated systems librarian, what does IT need to
know about our ILS to help us imporve our user interface, and what training
should we ask them to go through to maybe even make those global chages to
records?
