Hello all. I've had no responses to my original query, below, so I'll try
again, and broaden the question.

If any of you are teaching any information literacy or research methods
based arts-related, for-credit, course and are willing to share your
syllabus or plan, I'd be very appreciative of sharing. Beyond that, if there
is a site somewhere where librarians share their information literacy course
materials, please send the url. I'm putting together a course proposal for a
for-credit research and information strategies in art history for
undergraduates, and am looking for some precedence 1) that other
institutions are offering subject-based information literacy courses at the
undergraduate level, 2) how they compare with my institution, and 3) looking
at the course syllabi.

Please respond privately,

Subject: Syllabi for credit courses in art history research methods and
information sources

Hello.

This has probably been a topic before on ARLIS-L.

I am working with our Education Curator at the Colby College Museum on
developing a credit course on art history research methods and information
sources, for undergraduates, that will bring together the information
literacy mission of the library and art historical research need for our
museum program.

I am looking for sample syllabi, learning outcomes, and methods of
assessment for credit courses for undergraduates that any of you might have
developed.

The intersection of the college library and the college museum is the focus
here.

Does ARLIS have a page on its website with sample syllabi and course
materials, or can you point me in the direction of materials you can share
for courses any of you have developed or links to sites with sample syllabi
for library instruction courses for credit that are focused on art or visual
literacy?
