Question for the collective wisdom: I’m working with a new, tenure-track art faculty member who’s looking for journals that might be a good fit for some research she’s doing on the two abstract representations of the Stations of the Cross by Günther Förg and Barnett Newman (aesthetics, not necessarily religious). In particular, she’s looking for journals that would be considered “highly ranked” for the sake of tenure review. The list of “highly ranked” journals she received from her department doesn’t seem to include any contemporary art representation!

Any suggestions you can make are greatly appreciated!
