This event is one of five Knowledge Alliance Essential Information
workshops in Seattle, Chicago, Los Angeles, Atlanta and New York during
the month of May. These workshops are designed to help prospective LIS
students from underrepresented groups prepare for graduate education,
navigate career options, and connect with diverse network of peers and
mentors to help break down the complexities of a transforming industry
and build a path that suits each individual’s goals and skills. These
