I do not know if this helps, but I searched a bit in Dutch, and he had a relationship before he died with a women named Anna van Wonderen. I also found this gallery who is selling one of his works. http://galeriebenvanmameren.nl/listing/ruimte-van-de-ziel/. They might know more. They are in the region where he was from.
