Local binderies are also good PR and may offer specials for bulk buisiness. You may, however, have to search high and low (phonebook?) since many of these folks have little need for the interwebs.

 Hi Jessica,

We are going digital only for our MFA theses starting this semester.  But the option to pay to have a personal copy of their theses hardbound is still available. We use the same local bindery that we use for our bound periodicals and repaired materials.  The price to students for a personal bound volume is roughly $25.  You may considered contacting your university's technical services department to see which local bindery they use.

Best wishes,
Amy

Hi,

I have a question for the group about services for getting a student's masters thesis bound with a hardcover for her own enjoyment and perhaps for use in my small departmental library collection as well!

Our main library suggested going to Kinkos, but they only do spiral binding, not hardcover.

would anyone be able to provide some ideas? Do you know of any places that do this for the library world?  I just don't trust a google search and I think it's much better to get a recommendation from a group of experienced librarians.

Thanks,
