Apologies if someone else has already noted this on ARLIS-L: Kai Alexis Smith, who is a relatively new ARLIS member—and a winner of several awards last year—has her picture on p.33 of the March/April American Libraries.  She is one of “56 honorees in the Emerging Leaders class of 2014.”  If you look on p.34, you will see a short Q & A about Kai on the back of her picture.  Congratulations, Kai!
