The Wolfgang M. Freitag Internship Award Committee is pleased to announce Margit Ahmann Wilson as the 2014 award
recipient. In addition to a stipend, Margit will receive a one-year complimentary membership in ARLIS/NA. Margit received her MLIS from St. Catherine University, MN in December and will start her internship at the
National Museum of Women in the Arts following the ARLIS/NA annual conference.
Margit will be attending the ARLIS/NA conference in D.C. thanks in part to
another award she was awarded this year – the ARLIS Twin Cities chapter Travel Award. Please be sure to offer Margit congratulations on both awards when you see her in D.C.
This Wolfgang M. Freitag Internship Award grants $2,500 to support a 150 hour internship for a student or recent graduate preparing for a career
in art librarianship or visual resources curatorship.
While only one Internship Award is granted each year, ARLIS/NA does maintain a list of paid and unpaid internship opportunities on its
Internship Roster;
interested students and potential hosts are encouraged to visit the Internship Roster website for more information.
