I appreciate not having commercial postings on ARLIS-L, and have liked the new policy. Personally, I unsubscribe from all vendor advertisements as fast as I can, instead relying on reviews, on-line and print catalogs, and websites for my ordering. Could there be a subset of the list-serv for people who would like to opt in to commercial solicitations and promotions--an ARLIS Marketplace list-serv? And do vendors not have their own email list-servs to alert interested parties about their wares? ------- Anna Simon Research & Instruction Librarian Art, Film, and Museum Studies Ars Hoya: GU Art Blog <https://blogs.commons.georgetown.edu/ajs299/> Georgetown University Lauinger Library 37th & O Sts.
