The Jewish Museum in NYC would like to borrow a copy of ArtsMagazine, March 1967, for a Mel Bochner exhibition that will open April 29, 2014.

The article they seek is Bochner's piece on the Beach Boys, The Beach Boys--100%, p.24, which was conceived as a work of art that would exist only in reproduction.  NYPL is unable to loan its copy.

I have suggested to the curator, Norman Kleeblatt, that another institution may be able to loan a copy (and that art librarians are generally a generous bunch).  If anyone is able to provide such on this time schedule, please contact Mr. Kleeblattt:  [log in to unmask].
