Dear ARLIS/NA members:
In December, a new subcommittee was formed to address the need for virtual conference content. The mission of this subcommittee is as follows: “To
organize, create and manage virtual conference content for the ARLIS/NA membership and to contribute virtual educational offerings to the greater community of librarians, information scientists, visual resources professionals, and students.”
The Educational Technology Subcommittee reports to the Professional Development Committee. It is chaired by Elizabeth Morris, Assistant Librarian at the Yale Center for
British Art and includes four other members: Amy Ballmer, Fashion Institute of Technology, Claire Gunning, Cooper Union and Jill Luedke, Temple University.
Members of the subcommittee will be investigating tools and means for making conference content available digitally, as well as identifying opportunities to work with
other library and professional organizations to showcase ARLIS/NA member content in a digital capacity.
