Announcing the 2014 ARLIS/NA Member Art Web Exhibition - now accepting submissions!

We all know many talented artists and craftspeople within the ARLIS/NA membership, but there are not always many chances for members to share their artworks with the rest of the ARLIS/NA community. In consideration of the complex logistical aspects of locating and organizing a gallery space to show the 2D and 3D artistic creations of the ARLIS/NA membership during this year's Annual conference, the Stimulating Creativity In Practice (SCIP) SIG has volunteered to organize a web exhibit and image showcase of member artworks instead, with the goal of inspiring and promoting personal creative efforts and growth within the organization.

The SCIP coordinators for the 2014 ARLIS/NA Member Art Web Exhibition are now accepting submissions!

 * The exhibition is scheduled to open at the start of the 2014 annual conference.
* Each ARLIS/NA member can submit up to *5 images* of their artwork for inclusion in the exhibit.
* Images should be a maximum size of *960px* at the longest dimension to ensure that there is enough space to include all member works submitted.
* Priority will be given to submissions on a first-come-first-served basis.
* As the exhibit will be accessible to the public, each image will be accompanied by the following rights statement: "Copyright is held by the creator, unless otherwise noted. All rights reserved. Material may not be reproduced without permission."

There are two steps to the submission process.

1. For each image submission, please fill out this electronic form: http://goo.gl/fe1ga3
2. Then send an email to [log in to unmask] with *Your Name* in the subject line, including your image files as
attachments.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at the above email address. We are very excited to present our members' creativity through this digital exhibit. Submissions will be accepted through midnight on March 31, 2014. Share your creativity today!

Sincerely,

Angela Weaver, Elizabeth Hollenbeck
