Do any of you have docent archives in or attached to your libraries? We have recently brought in our docent corps’ archives (stored for decades at the home of whomever was the docent historian—a position that rotates yearly!) and are looking
for some ideas about what to include or move to other collections.
For instance, do you include past training videos in their archives or in their resource library? What about training manuals for past exhibitions? Do you duplicate news clippings on docents from your general clipping files?
Any guidance is extremely appreciated. Thanks in advance!
