I was recently approached by a retired architect who is looking for an institution to which he can donate his print collection of 40 years of Abitare magazine, March 1974 #124 - July 2013 #534 (http://www.abitare.it/en/).  It is a bilingual Italian/English publication which began in 1960 and covers architecture, design, art and graphics, although when I looked it up in some of the library catalogs the dominant indexed subjects are listed as architecture and interior design.  A current subscription costs 117 Euros per year.

The collection is already boxed and in good condition (three boxes of 13"x13"x17" and thirteen boxes of 10"x8"x12") in a community on the west side of Los Angeles, California.  It can be picked up by local repositories, or institutions out of the area who are willing to pay for the shipping costs can have it sent to them.
