*Annette Cords* *Nested* 27 November 2013 – 5 January 2014 *Art in the Windows *Exhibition Series On view day and night Mid-Manhattan Library 455 Fifth Avenue New York, NY 10016 212-340-0871 directions <http://www.nypl.org/locations/tid/45/directions> The Art and Picture Collections at Mid-Manhattan Library present the site-specific installation *Nested*<http://www.nypl.org/events/exhibitions/annette-cords-nested-art-windows-exhibition-series>combining elements from *Annette Cords’ *other installations *Sideways*<http://www.nypl.org/events/exhibitions/annette-cords-sideways-art-corner-room-exhibition-series>and *Tandem Mass*<http://www.nypl.org/events/exhibitions/annette-cords-tandem-mass-art-wall-third-exhibition-series>currently on view as part of *Art in the Corner Room* and *Art Wall on Third* ongoing exhibition series. Using wire mesh and cones that formerly held yarns, she articulates the spaces in the windows. The cones are stacked and transformed into gilded infinite columns, reflecting the changing light.
