The ARLIS/NA International Relations Committee is pleased to announce the acceptance of applications for the 2014 Samuel H. Kress Foundation Award for European Travel.

 

The purpose of this award is to support and encourage ARLIS/NA participation, collaboration, and professional development at European conferences.  We are grateful to the Kress Foundation for supporting ARLIS in its mission to develop ties and partnerships with European colleagues.

 

ARLIS/NA members in good standing, who have had a paper accepted at a European conference or program relevant to the field of art librarianship or visual resources curatorship, are eligible to apply.  If you are still waiting to hear from a conference program that your paper was formally accepted, we will still consider your application for the award. 

 

The award is for $1000 and is intended to defray travel related costs.

 

The deadline for application is February 15, 2014.
