As a publisher of digital-born catalogues raisonnés, I’ve followed this conversation with great interest. I want to be sure that you are all aware that we are also offering a resource for digital catalogues raisonnés. Artifex Press has both software and publishing programs. We are producing catalogues in-house and we are also licensing our software for outside use by museums, galleries, artist studios, estates, and archives. Our first two published digital catalogues raisonnés — *Chuck Close: Paintings* and *Jim Dine: Sculpture* — are available for free at artifexpress.com. The question of how to catalogue such publications is a fascinating one and has been something we’ve wanted to address as well. We would welcome your input as to how a publisher like Artifex Press can help to make your cataloguing easier.
