Responsible for overseeing the operation of the Visual Resources Library within the Department of Art and Art History. Additionally, collaborates with faculty from various department across campus, colleagues in the main library and information technology, as well as with the director and staff of the university museums. position requirements

- A broad knowledge of Art History as well as an MLS or MLIS degree is required.
- Extensive knowledge of digital resource management standards and best practices (specifically scanning, metadata, archiving, access, software and copyright laws), proven experience with graphic software (Adobe Photoshop) and hardware (slide scanners, flatbed scanners), and fluency with the Microsoft Office Suite, FileMaker Pro are required.
- Must possess the ability to adapt to new technologies as needed.
- Strong visual discrimination skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively is essential.
- Must be capable of working collegially with a diverse group of faculty, staff and students on a daily basis.
