Booklyn, a non-profit arts organization in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, is looking for fall interns. Please forward to any students or recent grads who might be interested! 

Booklyn’s mission is to promote artists’ books as art and research material and to assist artists and organizations in documenting, exhibiting, and distributing their artworks and archives.

Booklyn's interns get hands-on experience with a wide variety of artists' books and prints, as well as observing / assisting with the management of a small nonprofit. Specific projects include:

Inventorying artists' books 

Editing object records in our online database

Creating finding aids for artist archives and collections

Developing strong artist statements and artwork descriptions

Contributing to social media

We also encourage potential interns to contact us about special projects related to their skills and interests. Past examples include: creating a finding aid for a zine collection, animating a videos of an artists' book, designing and binding a small run of promotional booklets, etc.
