To All those with a Performance Bend, It looks like we do not have aPerforming Arts or Music SIG in ARLIS at present. I have really enjoyed discussing this on email and have found some new and old friends. I will do the application form for the SIG and try to arrange a meeting. Now, I need to attend MLA and join that organization; last year I traveled to four conferences to learn the latest in each of these fields and had one more that I sent only my paper (ARLIS). The cost for conferences and memberships is high and most institutions don't supply many of those costs.
