I would be very happy to join – just thinking that any such grouping should probably liaise in some way with the Music Library Association. MLA-L is also very informative for anybody interested in music librarianship issues (it is especially instructive on music cataloging).

Hi All,

 

To all those who responded to my inquiry about overseeing Music Libraries, thank you for the very varied perspectives you offered. We appear to be many more than I thought.  Is this a trend? 

 

I also received many emails interested in getting together at the ARLIS/NA Annual conference in DC in Spring 2014 to discuss issues for Music.  How does one form an interest group or should we keep this small, intimate, and bar-friendly?
