ARLIS/NA Ontario is looking for a volunteer moderator for an upcoming panel on social media this fall. The vision for the event is to have an engaging panel discussion on the theme of social media targeting information professionals, focusing on how social media can be harnessed and used in the provision of information to the artists, art historians, students, curators, art enthusiasts, as well as a more general audience. A balanced selection of panelists will  offer multiple innovative perspectives on how Information Professionals are a/effectively using social media in their practice, as well as discussing strategies of how to target and address the information needs of the arts community via social media.

The Panel discussion will be hosted by the Dorothy H. Hoover Library, Ontario College of Art and Design University, Toronto, on October 17th, 2013 (details to follow).

Students and established professionals with an interest in art librarianship are welcome to apply.
