ARLIS/NA Members,

Join the Wayne State University Library System and SEMLOL for an exciting day of exchanging new ideas, techniques and tools for using resource guides to reach out to our user communities. Not your typical conference, the agenda and topics discussed will be set by you, the attendees. Mark the date on your calendar, and come on down to the beautiful Wayne State University campus!

The day starts at 10 and ends at 3:30 after a short wrap up session.

12-1:30 LUNCH Dine-Arounds (Join colleagues for lunch at one of a number of dine-arounds, all within walking distance from the Wayne State University campus.)

1:30-2:00 Concurrent Sessions

2:00-2:30 Concurrent Sessions

2:30-3:00 Concurrent Sessions

3:00-3:30 Wrap-Up

Parking and Registration are free.

A call for proposals will be announced July 12th, inviting attendees to post ideas for sessions. In the spirit of an “unconference” this proposal can be short and to-the-point. Sessions are 30 minutes, so there is limited time. No Powerpoints or handouts are expected (or desired). Attendees will review and schedule sessions collaboratively at the opening session of the day; sessions will be facilitated by the person(s) who proposed them. Session topics should relate to the development and use of resource guides. Many of us use the LibGuides platform, but sessions are also invited for how to use blogs, wikis or other tools for guides.
