The Byrd Hoffman Watermill Foundation is seeking an archivist. The Archivist is responsible for establishing and managing the holdings of the Robert Wilson Archive, an extensive collection documenting the career of artist Robert Wilson; and the Watermill Center Archive, which documents the history and artistic production of an international artist residency program.

This position is responsible for the acquisition, arrangement and description, and preservation of: artistic records, relevant corporate records, media, ephemera and correspondence. In addition to processing new and ongoing acquisitions for the collections, the Archivist will prepare finding aids and other descriptive access tools; recruit and coordinate the activities of interns to assist with arrangement and description for the collections; and oversee digitization projects for archival collections.
