Hello collective widsom, I have a research assistant (for an English prof) "working on a painting of Henry Fawcett, who was a blind British MP in the 19th century. The painting was made by Ford Madox Brown, and we are trying to find reviews or any general information about this painting. Also, is it possible to try to find the exhibition history of this painting as well? " I have searched Art Index, Jstor and our library collection, which is in the basement of our building. Unfortunately, our reference collection is inaccessible right now, as our main floor is under construction. If any Arlisian has any ideas or access to a more in-depth collection on British art and don't mind doing a bit of digging, I would be very grateful. I am leaving for Berlin On June 10, and then continuing on the Russian Study Trip. If you have any information, could you please contact the research assistant Alex at [log in to unmask] thank you so much, Liv -- Liv Valmestad Art Librarian, M.F.A., M.L.I.S.
