Take a look at the home page of the ARLIS Web Site. There's a terrific picture of Ted Goodman, just after he's been presented by the Distinguished Service Award, with a link to his remarks. I wish it was a video, because some of it was absolutely hilarious in person. http://arlisna.org/index.html All of the DSA winners have been deserving, and Ted has been among the most hardworking, but Ted is someone who is so outgoing and generous, that all of those in ARLIS--and there are many--to whom he has reached out over the years, feel a special sense of the rightness of this particular award.
