Smith College is accepting applications for a Director of the Imaging Center.  Reporting to the Chair/Associate Chair of the Art Department, the Director is responsible for the administration of the Imaging Center and Art Department visual resources. This includes program management, policy planning, and day-to-day operations of the Imaging Center, as well as support for pedagogical and technological needs across the Art Department. In conjunction with the Art Department faculty, the Director develops strategic vision and oversees daily operations of the Design Media Lab and related classrooms/ labs.

 

Applicants with a Master’s Degree in Library Science, Art History or Studio Art preferred, and 5-7 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with the broad field of the visual arts and reading knowledge of one foreign language a plus.
