Dear all, The Society of Architectural Historians (SAH) conference will take place April 10-14 in Buffalo, NY. Follow this link to see the wonderful and full program being offered: http://www.sah.org/conferences-and-programs/2013-conference-buffalo Among the many sessions, "Architectural Archives and the Practice of History", is one that will discuss the relationship between historians and archives, questioning cultural and technological factors that have shaped research methods. There is also the SAH Closing Evening Event, to be held at the Darwin Martin House, to mark the recent joint acquisition of the Frank Lloyd Wright Archive by Columbia University's Avery Architectural and Fine Arts Library and the Museum of Modern Art. Carole Ann Fabian, Director of Avery Library, and Barry Bergdoll, the Philip Johnson Chief Curator of Architecture and Design at MoMA, will discuss the institutional opportunities provided by this unique acquisition.
