Dear Arlisians,

I was contacted by an art historian who is researching the life and works of Norma Bassett Hall (1888-1957).

She is interested in any and all archival materials especially--vertical file information, any clippings, letters, notes. She has been working on Hall for more than ten years, so commonly known publications she probably has. However, if you have any small or possible obscure pamphlets, exhibition announcements, she is interested in knowing their titles. Hall's papers were lost, and much was sold at auction in the 1980s, which she has not been able to track down. She remain hopeful to find out that a museum acquired them.

So far I found in Worldcat that the Wichita Art Museum Research Library at Wichita State University compiled an artist file/pamphlet file (one folder) on this artist plus Arthur William Hall, and that the Brooklyn Museum of Art Library collections have one folder in their vertical files (the BMA artist files).

With kind regards,

Kitty
