FIAA Professional Development Grant - credit toward an iSchool Institute course - Deadline Extended to Friday April 19, 2013.


Awarded to a University of Toronto Faculty of Information Alumna/us who wishes to enhance his/her career-related professional development.  Grant created with alumni in mind who graduated from the Faculty of Information ten or more years ago. 

The grant will be annually awarded to an alumna/us who graduated ten or more years ago.  It will provide the recipient with a $500 CAD credit towards any course (or combination of courses not exceeding $500) offered by the University of Toronto iSchool Institute, previously known as the Professional Learning Centre.  All course(s) must be registered at the same time.

Do you know of an innovator, a leader, a mentor, a researcher, a catalyst, someone who has made a difference in the profession and is a FI/FIS/FLIS/FLS or Museum Studies alumnus/a?

 
This award is given to a graduate of the Faculty of Information who has demonstrated innovation and leadership in one of the following areas: libraries and information management, professional organizations, publications/research activity, or the community at large.
