ARLIS/NA has received funding from the Samuel H. Kress Foundation to facilitate active participation of ten prominent European art information specialists in the society's 41st annual conference to be held in Pasadena, California. The grant will initiate the first year of a program of support to increase the direct exchange of expertise between North American and European informational professionals at the annual ARLIS/NA conferences.
Six of the grant recipients who are members of initiatives related to the Getty Research Portal and the Future of Art Bibliography (FAB) will also attend a meeting at the Getty Research Institute that will coincide with the conference.

The recipients of the Samuel H. Kress Foundation grants are:
