It is with great pleasure that the ARLIS/NA-VRAF Summer Educational Institute Co-Chairs announce the recipients of the Samuel H. Kress Foundation Summer Educational Institute Scholarships for 2013: Margit Ahmann, MLIS Candidate, Saint Catherine University, Saint Paul, MN Nicole Davis, Photography Curator and Media Archivist, Austin History Center Sarah Gillis, Assistant Registrar and Image Manager, Worcester Art Museum Andrea Johnson, Art Library/Digital Services Library Assistant, Washington University in Saint Louis Alison Verplaetse, Digital Preservation Specialist, Dayton Memorial Library, Regis University The SEI planning committee is grateful to the Kress Foundation for its continued support of SEI participants. These scholarships cover full cost of registration. SEI 2013 will be held at the University of Michigan from June 18-21. SEI is an intensive educational opportunity intended to provide in-depth instruction in visual resources and image collection management. The SEI 2013 curriculum will stimulate participants' thinking about intellectual property, metadata, digital imaging, DAMS, and expanding professional roles, and includes the opportunity to participate in dynamic, topical sessions based on attendees' areas of interest.
