We are pleased to announce the fifteen recipients of the Getty Foundation grant to allow Latin American librarians to attend the ARLIS/NA conference in Pasadena.

A $69,000 grant from the Getty Foundation provided ARLIS/NA with the opportunity to provide funding for art librarians from Latin America to attend the 41st Annual Conference in Pasadena, California, April 25-29, 2013. The recipients of the conference attendance grants listed below were selected for their proven records of professional accomplishment and collaboration. ARLIS/NA congratulates the recipients and looks forward to welcoming them to the conference, and to the possibilities for expanded opportunities for collaboration and cultural exchange.

The grant will support professional development for these Latin American colleagues who could not otherwise attend the Pasadena conference without financial assistance. The grant will cover all costs associated with conference attendance, including registration fees for programs and tours, travel and accommodation, and translation services. It is expected that the participation of the Latin American colleagues will lead to lasting professional collaborations, and will significantly expand ARLIS/NA's representation of arts information professionals in the Americas.
