The Brooklyn Visual Heritage website was developed through IMLS funded Project CHART, a collaborative effort of Pratt Institute’s School of Information and Library Science (SILS)<http://www.brooklynvisualheritage.org/content/pratt-institute>, the Brooklyn Historical Society<http://www.brooklynvisualheritage.org/content/brooklyn-historical-society>, Brooklyn Museum<http://www.brooklynvisualheritage.org/content/brooklyn-museum> and The Brooklyn Public Library<http://www.brooklynvisualheritage.org/content/brooklyn-public-library>, focusing on the digitization of historic images of Brooklyn. We are in the final stages of this three year project that has allowed us to bring many talented Pratt students to our institutions to gain practical working experience in the Libraries, Archives and Digital Lab.
