CDR-1186: Highlighting Scholars Resources' Vendors: MAX FERGUSON and KEN GARRETT

SR highlights two vendors: Max Ferguson, a painter, and Kenneth Garrett, a photographer. These two very different artists each has his own very personal style and interests. Ferguson graduated from New York University with a degree in film, but his interest switched from film to painting after studying art in Amsterdam at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie. His paintings, largely of his native New York City, capture intimate moments and disappearing ethnic scenes in his exacting, polished technique. 

Ken Garrett studied photography in his late teens at the university of Missouri and went on to study anthropology at the University of Virginia. He combines his two loves of photography and archaeology in his stunning photographs of ancient civilizations and artifacts, exemplified by his work for National Geographic Magazine. In his work he approaches each artifact, monument, and temple from every angle until it speaks to him, as his images of Egyptian artifacts speak to us here. This set presents a sampling of fifty Ferguson paintings and fifty Garrett photographs.
