Hello colleagues,

A friend of mine who works for a health system wrote to me with questions about outstanding interactive museums and exhibits.  My first thought was that ARLIS-L could help her, and she gave me permission to post her message here. If you have suggestions for her, please send them to her directly at the email below.

Thanks all, and have a nice weekend.

Hello Debbie!

I hope this note finds you well.  I am fine – working away!

Could you contribute some information regarding interactive exhibits or museums.  Our new patient care addition at Blessing, to be opened in 2014, will have a main lobby entry with walls depicting the history of our area, partnering with local media and their archives.  We want it to be highly interactive.

How could I find out what the best interactive exhibits or museums are out there in the old USA?  I have googled and have found lists of the top children’s interactive spots.

I am wondering is there anyone out there who could say overall these are the best/top 10 interactive exhibits/museums by far?

Any thoughts on that yourself, or where I might turn to?

Take care,

Ann
