Dear Colleagues, Our chapter is pleased to announce that the recipient of the 2013 Caroline Backlund award is Eden Orelove. Eden is a graduate student in Art History at the George Washington University, and is currently working at the National Gallery of Art. She is a member of the 2014 ARLIS conference program planning committee. She will also be presenting a report on the DC/Md./Va. chapter's new mentoring program. The Caroline Backlund Award provides financial support to defray the costs of attending the annual ARLIS conference. Please join me in extending congratulations to Eden.
