Good morning,

I have a student who is trying to locate an image of a Rembrandt painting for an exhibit.  The information she has indicates that it is in a collection catalog of Sir William Van Horne, perhaps published in Berlin in 1914.  The painting is a Study of an Old Man with Curly Hair (or some variation on that; there were 3 versions of essentially the same image).  So my question for this generous bunch is, do any of you have a collection catalog of Sir William van Horne and can you confirm that there is a reproduction of Rembrandt’s Study of an Old Man with Curly Hair c. 1659?  I find several entries in WorldCat but I can’t determine the content.

The painting subsequently landed in the Natan Saban collection in Miami  but we have even less information about that.

Thanks in advance for any help and advice you can provide!

Jenne
