The ARLIS/NA - Midstates Chapter is pleased to announce that Viveca Pattison Robichaud is the recipient of the 2013 William C. Bunce - ARLIS/NA - Midstates Travel Award. 

Viveca is Assistant Visiting Librarian at the University of Notre Dame’s Hebsburgh Libraries, where she divides her time between the Architecture Library and the Julian Samora Library in the Institute of Latino Studies.

Viveca is the chair of the ARLIS/NA Travel Awards Committee and will be presenting the awards at the convocation.  In addition, she will be co-presenting a paper entitled The Seaside Research Portal and the Future of Archiving the Built Environment, as part of the “Collaborating for Discovery: Expanding Landscapes for Digital Collections through Joint Ventures” session. 

The William C. Bunce Award / Midstates Travel Award is given in honor of William C. Bunce who served as the Director of the Kohler Art Library at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1966 to 1999.  The purpose of this $500 award is to support a chapter member's professional development by providing funding to attend the ARLIS/NA annual conference.
