Scholars Resource would like to draw attention to the third in our Series: Highlighting Scholars Resources' vendors: BRIDGEMAN EDUCATION Bridgeman Education is an educational image resource available through the Bridgeman Art Library. Bridgeman was originally founded over 40 years ago by Harriet Bridgeman. In her work writing and editing art books Harriet discovered the difficulty in accessing illustrations of works of art other than by contacting museums directly. She developed the Bridgeman Art Library so that users could access thousands of images; at the same time providing extra income for the museums and collections represented. Representing collections from all four corners of the globe and with international offices in London, New York, Paris and Berlin, Bridgeman has become the world's largest resource for fine art, cultural and historical imagery available for licensing. Images available through Bridgeman Education include, among others, works from the prestigious Giraudon archive. Bridgeman Education covers all subjects and genres, from prehistory to old masters to contemporary works. Scholars Resource is proud to offer over 30,000 images from Bridgeman Education.
