Sorry, I've not posted before but have a question that i felt the collective experiences of the group might help with. I'm Librarian at Cal Poly, Pomona. Our campus is doing an architecture exhibit for Pacific Standard Time 2 (architecture) and the ENV archivist has selected 22 bound periodicals that she wants unbound so she can use specific print issues in the exhibit. I found many on e-bay but she seems to wants to go the unbinding route and is willing to pay, its expensive. What has the collective experience of the group been with the unbinding and rebinding process, how do the journal issues look, will i have a big mess on my hands?
